Michael Red: If you had to go back to your 16-year-old self, what advice would you give your 16-year-old self? John: Like you said, the smartest people could take the most complex issues and just make them simple. By the way I never wouldve said this seven years ago, I think you have to be involved. I think one of the things Jason of Beverly Hills, who was the designer and the manufacturer did, we just had this awesome element that the top of the ring came off and became a pendant on your, that you could actually wear as a necklace. We're going to develop some residential and we'll hopefully have a great commercial tenant and we continue to build. You can always have free coffee. Even though we just opened up a building two years ago, you're starting in a place where we're going to have some attrition and lose some fans and have to build equity back up and get back to basics of like building ticket sales, building everything else. Its rotating cast includes bankers, lawyers and high-powered television executives. Above me there are my two children, my son, Tyler, my daughter, Courtney. It was one of these terrible times where, when youre in pro sport, you book all your revenue, you do all your dirty business before tip-off and if they didnt have somebody to run the business in July, it wouldve been a disaster and they were stuck with me and thats my road to success. But, you want to be in a place where people care about you? And our expectations are to consistently improve and grow as a business and consistently improve on the court and vie for a championship. How did you put the stadium deal together? There's no way that the reverence, the likeability and kind of the coolness of the Milwaukee can't be a team and a city that the whole world cheers for in such a big way. Its not just the players, but the way you get to honor so many of the others who put their blood, sweat and tears into helping make it a possibility. John: Thats literally a reality show that, it could be on Netflix. And if a new player does not endear himself to the group, it tends to reflect poorly on whoever invited him in the first place. When Khris was a rookie, I said, "Do you know whose jersey you wearing?" Michael Red: The mental health and wellness of the players, right? I'm so proud for his development.
